Fremont is across the street from the original school in this area
was across Ralston Road and was called
Grant School. In 1891 the
first portion of the present Fremont school was constructed. This two
room, brick
building was called Fremont School for the first time. In
1948 an addition was made to this school. Since
reorganization in
1950, several additions have been placed on this school.
