The Jefferson County Vital Records Office has birth certificates available from 1909-present. Earliest death certificates on file from 1868. No marriage records.


Birth & Death Records
The Colorado State Archives has a microfiche index of approximately 3,000 Colorado births from 1863-1899 that is available for viewing on site. The State of Colorado Vital Records Section has birth records for the entire state for years 1910 to present and death records for 1900 to present. Go to Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for ordering information


Marriage Records
Marriage records for the entire state are available for the following years: 1900 to 1939, and 1975 to present. Verifications for the years 1940 to 1974 are not available from this office and must be obtained from the county where the license was obtained. Dissolution (divorce, separation and annulment) records for the entire state are available for the following years: 1900 to 1939 and 1968 to present. Verifications for the years 1940 to 1967 are not available from this office and must be obtained from the county where the dissolution was decreed.
