Vital Information generally consists of Birth, Death, Divorce and Marriage records that are usually available during a public seach on your county website. Some counties request a fee for obtaining a 'certified' copy. This is more for when you need a death certificate for business and financial reasons. Many Family Research sites will provide copeis of these documents with a paid membership.
Colorado Birth and Death Certificates are protected information, but can be obtained with proper documentation. The individual, parents, grandparents, siblings and spouses and people with a tangible interest qualify.
