In 1910 Knox County, Silas and Mary have Vida J., Ruth E., Mina C. 9, Vernice
and Vernon, both 3.
In 1920 Kit Carson County, Silas is 58, Mary J. 56, Mina 19, Vernon and
Vernice both 13.
In 1930 Castle Rock, Colorado, Silas, a carpenter, and Mary are living
with daughter Ruth E. Robb and her husband Gilbert.
In 1940 Silas, a carpenter, and Mary are in Los Angeles County.
They had been in Arapahoe County in 1935.

William and Bertha Weiderman are alone in 1930 Cope precinct.

Vernon Everet Jewell married Mabel Elizabeth Tyson June 28, 1928, recorded in
Bent County. Vernon is an auto mechanic in 1940 Denver, married to
Elizabeth - both 32, with Gladys 10 and Jean 8.
Vernon died in Riverside County, California January 1, 1981, mother's name
Hart.
MINA
Mina C. Jewell married Bernard Gilman Sept 22, 1924, recorded in Teller
County.
Mina J. Gilman 1900-1926 is buried in Greeley # 65221758.
Bernard Gilman married Ruth Fleming July 9, 1929, recorded in Larimer County.
Bernard D. Gilman and Ruth M. Gilman divorced in Weld County in 1938.

RUTH
Ruth E. 1898-1984 # 69741329 and J. Gilbert Robb 1898-1986 are buried

VIDA
| February 21, 1935 Lincoln, Nebraska- P. I. Harrison, well known
attorney and for twelve years county judge of Thayer county, died here
Sunday of pneumonia and was buried Wednesday at Carleton. He was born on
a farm near Carleton forty-four years ago, graduated from Hebron high
school and took his law degree at Nebraska university. Starting to
practice law in Deshler, he was elected county judge in 1916 and held
office until the close of 1928, serving the longest term of any
Incumbent in that office. He had been practicing in Hebron ever since.
For seven years he was city attorney of Hebron and held a similar office
for a like period in Deshler. He served two terms on the Hebron school
board and at the time of his death was chairman of the county central
republican committee. For many years Mr. Harrison was a member of the M.
E. church of Hebron, He was affiliated with Phi Alpha Delta law
fraternity, I. O. O. F. lodge No. 1395, Belvidere; Gavel lodge No. 119
A. F,& A. M. of Carleton; Gayle chapter No. 16 R. A. M. and Bethlehem
commandery No. 18, Knights Templar, of Hebron. Surviving are his wife,
the former Vida V. Jewell, whom he married in Lincoln sixteen years ago;
their daughter, Bonnie Jean; his father, George Harrison; brother,
Charles, and three sisters. Mrs. Ray Rachow, Mrs. George Lahners and
Mrs. Otis Powell. |
