Edward proved
up a quarter in 32, 4S 42W in 1893, and owned that land in 1920.
Henry cash-claimed land in 27 and 34, 3S 42W in 1890. He also had a
record of a timber claim and homestead claim in 8S 50W, but those weren't
completed.
Maybe he's the August Henry Doege born 1803 in Prussia.....
Possibly Henry - grandson of August Henry Doege - was in Faribault County, Minnesota, in 1880, 13, son of
Leopold 47 and Albertina 36.
He married Anna Dorothy Kaufman Nov 28, 1894 in Faribault County.
He was in Faribault County in 1900, born August 1867, married five years to
Annie Nov 1879, with George Nov 1895 and Helen April 1898, all born in
Minnesota.
Another Henry Doege was in Columbia County, Wisconsin in 1895, 75, widowed,
born in Germany. Frank 31 iand he are boarders wtih the William and
Augusta Dettiman, both born in Germany.
EDWARD
In 1900 Blue Earth County, Minnesota, Edward born Oct 1849 in Germany,
married 19 years to Agusta Dec 1858, Germany, have Rudolf Dec 1882 Germany,
Merry Feb 1884 Minnesota, Tracy July 1889 Minnesota, Bruno June 1892 , and
Hugo July 1893 Colorado.
When Bruno Walter Doege registered for WWI, he said he was born June 10, 1889
at Jaqua, Kansas.
Edward Doege 1848-1926 - per # 134537286, is buried in Olivia, Minnesota,
with Augusta 1858-1937.
In 1930 Hugo is 36, living in Walker, Michigan, a policeman for the city of
Grand Rapids, with Lena M. 23, and Aletha L. 2.
Hugo A. Doege in 1940 is a policeman in Grand Rapids, Michigan, 46, with Lena
M. 32 and Aletha L. 12.

My g.g.-grandfather was Gottlieb Doege b/d Nov.
24, 1835 birthplace Germany(possibly New Deblitz,
Prussia). Came to USA approximately 1869. Lived
in Sheboygan, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin USA.
He married in Germany Augusta Voight (Vogt)b/d
Dec. 10,1840.
Gottlieb and Augusta Doege had six children. One
of their sons was William b/d May 21, 1863 (New
Deblitz, Prussia, Germany). William died in
Sheboygan, Wisconsin July 7, 1935. William's
wife was Anna Stuemke. Another son was Albert
b/d June 25, 1874. Albert died in Sheboygan, Wi
October 2, 1898. Third son was Charles (Carl) --
no information. Their three daughters were
Louisa (married to William Lith and Julius
Schanglies), Bertha (married to Herman Lampe),
and Emilie (married to Carl Burgard).
