Wray Gazette July 15, 1909

The corps of teachers for the Wray school has been filled, the board employing Miss Vina Mitchel, of Denver, for the primary room and Miss Barbara McBreen for the first intermediate room, at their meeting last Thursday night.  Miss Mitchell comes highly recommended and Miss McBreen is quite well known in Wray, at least by reputation, as she has taught in the Laird school for two years with signal success.  She takes Miss Ruby Cumley's work as Miss Cumley declined the position, having secured a school in California.  The corps of teachers as is now stands is as follows:  Miss Vina Mitchel, primary; Miss Barbara McBreen, first intermediate; Miss Mary English; second intermediate; and Mrs. Bell Roush, grammar and principal.
