Pfc. Byron Peacock was killed in an airplane crash at Lewes, England, November 19. He was a member of the Ninth Air Force's Troop Carrier Command.
Pfc. Peacock was born at Cope, Colorado, January 24, 1916, and moved to Denver with his family when he was a small child. He had been overseas nine months. He is survived by his wife, Irene Peacock, a daughter, Donna Fae, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Peacock, of Denver; two brothers, Sgt. William Peacock, now in France, and Guy, a Denver fireman, and a sister, Fae.

Funeral services for Pfc. Byron G. Peacock, who was killed in an airplane crash in England Nov 19, 1944, will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Hofmann Mortuary.
Military burial, under the auspices of Leyden-Chiles-Wickersham Post No 1, American Legion, will be in Crown Hill.
Born Jan. 24, 1916, in Cope, Colo., Peacock was a graduate of Grant Junior High School and South High School. He operated a grocery store at 3959 S. Acoma St., Englewood, before entering the service in April, 1942.
Peacock is survived by his wife, Irene; a daughter, Dona Fae; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin H. Peacock; a sister, Mrs. Fae Jackson and two brothers, Guy and Glen.
