Aaron GRIGSBY 1789; Grandfather of Denver resident William
Sherman Grigsby. Moved from Virginia to Kentucky about 1810, then
to Indiana in 1822, next to Edgar, Illinois in 1829, to Iroquois
County, Illinois in 1835 and to Lena, Stephenson County, Illinois
in 1836. He is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, AKA Grigsby
Cemetery, near Lena, IL. His grandson William Sherman GRIGSBY
lived in Denver, Colorado with his wife Ida Mae BOBB and two
children.
