Meeker Delta County Independent Thursday, Oct 17, 1946 Page 2 Thomas O. Meeker Thomas O. Meeker, 73, passed away, Oct 11 after a brief illness. He resided in Delta the past 12 years. Thomas O. Meeker was born April 22, 1873, in Adair County, Missouri, and spent his youth on an Adair county farm. He was united in marriage Aug. 11, 1892, to Rosa E. Crabtree at Kirksville, Mo. She preceded him in death and he was married to Effie Fabricius, May 26, 1938, at Spokane, Wash., who survives him. He was a member of the Assembly of God church. Mr. Meeker is survived by his wife and two children, Lee Meeker, Pryor, Okla., and Aubrey Meeker, Burbank, Calif; a brother, J. A. Meeker, Gibbs, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Ada Anderson, Spokane, Wash.*; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One daughter and two sons preceded him in death. Services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Assembly of God church with Rev. H. R. Parish officiating. The Lamar Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. *Ada Anderson-was Elzadia Z. Anderson, daughter of Joseph T. Pevehouse and Sarah Meeker (Thomas' older sister).
